Q: How old are you and where are you from?
A: I am 21 and I am from Taos, New Mexico.
Q: How did you come up with your alter ego name (Mzsteriya) and what is your real name?
A: Its a long story, but lets just say it was a name meant for a something else I had a passion for and decided to use it for my makeup. My real name is Delilah (yes like the song haha)
Q: What is your ethnicity?
A: I am hispanic with just a little bit of native american according to my grandparents lol
Q: Do you do tutorials on YouTube?
A: Not yet, but trust me I am definitely working on it! I have the youtube channel , just not the right camera to record with. Keep an eye out though, there will be some coming soon!
Q: What Camera do you use to photograph your work, swatches and products?
A: Sony DSC-H10
Q: What software(s) do you use to edit your photos?
A: Usually my photos are only edited a little bit; I photograph in front of a fluorescent light to try and get the right shot. The occasional cropping and eyebrow hair remover and touchups are fixed in iPhoto and Google+ Photo Editor.
Q: How and why did you get into makeup?
A: Ive been artistic all my life; whether it was drawing, learning to play bass, making my own jewelry or graphic designing, the passion for music and art has always been there. I had always loved makeup but never really wore it cause I didnt know how to apply it correctly. Then one magical day when I was 15, I was taken to a MAC counter in Dillards and fell in love. I started playing with color and buying little by little any chance I got. Then I began watching YouTube videos when I was 17 and learned from there.
Q: Do you freelance? Are you professionally taught? Do you have a Cosmo License?
A: Yes, I freelance, not for any company at the moment. I freelance for weddings, formals, photoshoots, special events etc. No, I do not have a cosmo license because usually most states dont require you to have one.
Q: Can I send in a request?
A: Yes! Since I am new to the blogging scene, all requests and suggestions are welcome.
Q: What school did you go to to learn how to do makeup?
A: Nope, I didn't go to any school or academy; I am completely self taught and learned everything I know from my mother and YouTube.
